Plants available

Plants and seedlings will be available again from January 2026, please see below.

Seed will be available from May to July only, as this is when it should be sown.

Plants available

Germinated seedlings and lots of them! Offered in batches of 10 pot luck from hand pollinated crosses to some naturally pollinated seedlings from the best and most unusual colours. These are mostly at the cotyledon stage although may have the first leaf showing – they transplant well at this age.

Flowering plants:

Hellebore
PL01 x h croaticus

Colour groups

Below are the colour groups available from the garden. If I don’t have the plants ready in pots, they will be freshly dug from the garden. These are strong, healthy plants and garden-worthy, grown outdoors.

Magenta red hellebores

These fabulous magenta-red coloured seedlings pop up regularly on their own. Some have red nectaries, some green.

Circus Group hellebores

A garden seedling type, they have open, star-shaped and sometimes quite large and quite outward-facing. They are generally healthy, strong growers and form big clumps. They fade to a beautiful antique silk colour which is lovely for flower arranging.

Candy Stripe group hellebores

A slightly variable group, but they all have a striped pink, white and green appearance when viewed from above and pretty, bell shaped flowers. Ranging from very pale with a pink edge to quite dark pink as shown.

Gin ‘n Tonic group hellebores

White with green markings, these are quite often starry shapes although a few are more rounded. This group is strong, healthy and not really affected by black spot in my garden. It’s very useful for lighting up a dark corner or against dark evergreen shrubs and it really glows in low light (which happens a lot at this time of year!). Very occasionally with slight red or purple spotting.
